My editor and I collaborated to submit this article to an Indian Anthology; however, it was not selected. I am deciding to publish this not entirely anonymously on Medium. My friend, an English major, said I don’t need to reveal that I used an editor. However, I would instead state it upfront for transparency because I figure people who know my voice well can figure out that the writing isn’t my voice.
